2009

I regret no new work has been seen on my website for 6-7 months. I have been out of commission due to a bout of peritoneal cancer. My last chemo treatment is the end of April and hope to be back sculpting lightly May/June 2009. It will be interesting to see what comes out.

It was a journey in life that I would not have been able to complete but for the incredible prayers, love, caring and help from my family, friends, fellow ceramic artists and other artists, vendors at the Marin Farmer's Market, my customers and other caring people I have not even met. Also the caring and help I received from the doctors and staff at the Redwood Regional Medical Oncology in Santa Rosa, CA and UCSF Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, and especially my partner Jan, Deborah and Tom who cooked great meals and provided a beautiful home for me to heal with all the song birds and animals.

I was invited as a guest artist by the promoter Tyson, and will be at the Marin Art Festival, San Rafael, CA June 20,21 2009 with quite a bit of help from friends. I was also invited to the ACGA Palo Alto Clay and Glass Festival in Palo Alto, CA July 11,12 2009.

A small amount of work is displayed and sold at the Marin Farmer's Market in San Rafael, CA, Sundays 8am-1pm. Donna Bohegian, with great kindness and skill, has kept Red Fox Studio alive and prominent during my healing journey. She is doing a wonderful job - stop by and talk with her.
